CZ 75D PCR Grips
« on: April 08, 2021, 08:57:43 AM »
Hey all,

Quick (and possibly stupid) question: will grips advertised as fitting the CZ 75 compact also fit the 75 PCR, even if they dont explicitly say? Do the guns have the same grip diminsions?

Just got a PCR and I want some wood grips, but cant seem to find any for the PCR- plenty for the 75 compact, though.

Thank you all for your help!

Grips for all steel and alloy compact frames from 1992 to the present are swappable.

Though this is not real common, on some of the thicker grips that ride higher up the frame, the decocking lever can contact the grips when you decock. This is generally easy to remedy by fitting the top of the grip or the underside of the decocking lever.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

I only mentioned 1992 as that was the first year a compact sized 75 model was introduced. In essence, all compact size models unless as Tok36 indicated, a particular grip maker might do something a little different.

No worries. I don't think I'm gonna use anything older than 2018  ;D

I have great luck finding grips for many models on ebay. I happen to like smooth wood grips, I put them on all my guns. Ebay almost always has them for great prices. Funny, I just bought a set of smooth wood finger groove grips for the PCR thats still on order.

They also fit the Canik compact line.  The alloy frame guns are slightly wider frame than steel but not by a noticeable difference unless you have really small hands.
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

And to clarify on this,  the walnut  Nill grips for the compact mention on a couple of websites that they may need a little filing to clear the Decocker, but they fit perfectly on my PCR with no adjustment. So apparently that's old info. They have a palm swell much like the stock rubber PCR grip.

Expensive, but very nice.
