New Scorpion Evo 3 S1 Carbine owner Handguard question

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and a new owner of the Evo 3 S1 Carbine. I tried searching through the pages of posts to find an answer to my question but had no luck. So I apologize if this was asked and I missed it.  I am considering replacing the original handguard, and possibly barrel for lighter versions.  However I am trying to find out the actual weight of the original handguard and barrel (separately).  I contacted CZ with no luck.  I don't want to replace the handguard and possibly barrel in hopes of reducing weight and the difference is insignificant.   

I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Can't speak for barrel. But the pakse is what I put on mine before selling the whole gun. Not sure on exact weights. But was like 40$ or so and got rid of the cheesegrater style front grip which surely reduced it alot and made it more comfortable also. To me that was a no-brainer. There's others out there but can't say they'd be lighter and will cost alot more. Be sure to buy a wrench for barrel nut tho. Goodluck

You have the carbine, correct? I can’t tell you the weights on that but, I have the S1 pistol hand guard and the Pakse Sapper. I’m using my wife’s baking scale and the original hand guard is 8.2oz while the Pakse Sapper is 6.8oz. The original 7”ish barrel with trunnion is 11.4oz.
