It's insane someone soo against our rights is even seriously being considered for such a position.

Watching video replay of Chipman's hearings, to me he comes across as unable to think analytically, capable of grossly bending the truth and to say the least an extremist in his positions to the point of being dangerous. Briefly, he has no regard for 2nd amendment rights or rule of law.

Also, being from Alabama and a member of all groups mentioned in the headline I didn't really appreciate his twitter comment on 8/22/2015 (https://nationalfile.com/biden-atf-nominee-who-defends-waco-massacre-bashed-alabama-trump-voters-and-christians-in-one-tweet/). Not being of the "offended" group though I don't think he owes me an apology!

In addition, it's also been reported that he smugly belittled recent first-time gun buyers. Seems to me he speaks before he thinks. If he thinks at all.

My suggestion to all is call your senators and voice your opinion about his confirmation.

I mean he works/worked for an antigun group; the guy clearly has an agenda and is willing to lie and manipulate to further that agenda.
