My google skills don’t seem to be up to par…
I have a project in the works and am looking for some info,
I picked up a pair of stainless 455’s in lr and wmr, the idea is to convert them to scout rifles.
Why?….. why not? I have precision rigs, fun rigs and now I’ve decided to give this a try.
These are the threaded 20.5” in poly soft touch stocks.
I wanted stainless due to the cold and wet environments I hunt and play in. Scout scopes because I like them(I have a funny astigmatism and the long eye relief seems to make it easier on me).
I have two questions to get this going.
Front sight hight? Or a ready to install option?
Does anyone know of bases with an appropriate contour/ taper?
Any help would be appreciated.
