He offered to strip the slide but I did it myself.  Funny that way.  I like to what I can.  Also allowed me to examine the firing pin retaining pin and the notch in the firing pin for the firing pin retaining pin.

Give him a call.  Real nice guy.  Easy to talk to about what he does to the pistols and why he does it.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Stripping the slide on your pistol is something you should probably be doing yourself every few thousand rounds in any case, if you aren't going to have a gunsmith doing it for you.  It gives you a chance to clean and inspect everything in your firing pin channel, in addition to the retaining pin which probably needs to be replaced with a CGW one anyway.  I had stripped the firing pin channels on both of my CZ's within their first 1000 rounds, and found a metal chunk of the factory retaining pin in one of them.  Also good to clean the accumulated carbon and other gunk from behind your extractor on a similar timeframe to head off extraction problems.

Thanks, I sent the slide assembled to DP Custom Works, and he has received the slide. Maybe I should have disassembled, but too late now. I am sure Doug will do a great job from what I have heard about his work. I went ahead and ordered the Holosun 407c, so it should be here ready for the slide when it returns. Thanks for the input.
