S&W 610
« on: August 30, 2021, 11:56:52 PM »
While I was shooting at the range today, I had a look for a s&w 610. I've been looking for one for over a year. It jumped up and did a little dance then spoke to me. It said " Take me home, I'm yours. " When I looked down, my check book was magically writing a check. I just went with the flow.
I have a sig p220 hunter and a cz75b in forty, now I have something to shoot both in the same handgun. I can't wait to try.

Nice gun! There's a guy in Arizona who runs a little company called Original Precision. He makes a nice little block off slug to go in the frame and get rid of that hideous lock. I have them in my S&W's that had the hideous "hillary hole"

Didn't even notice until you mentioned it.

S&W N-frame in 10mm make great garbage disposals for 40 mistakes. Just about any N frame Smith is a looker. The hammer lock has been known to bounce on during firing. I have a couple of these with the hammer lock a 329 in 44 Magnum and a 625 in 45 ACP but haven't experienced this myself. I figure if any one of these was going to pop on it would be the 44 but nothing has happened to this date. There's nothing as fun as an impulse purchase.
