Hi all,

I picked up a NIB Tanfoglio Witness Stock 9mm in stainless. This is the large frame round trigger guard model. I have not been able to get much info on it but I just mostly want to know do they make this model any more. Thanks for any info.

Yes they still make the witness elite and what they are calling a witness original both round trigger guard but both have a rail. I guess I'll give them a call next week.

I’m pretty sure that model is discontinued through EAA but IFG might have a similar offering in their lineup.
   Maybe it’s just me but it seems like most folks prefer a full length dust cover, with or without a rail.

True!  The Tanfoglio Witness Stock was replaced in the EAA line up by the Tanfoglio Witness Elite Stock II.

IFG has a similar Pistol in the Defiant Limited Pro, but does offer it in the Tanfoglio Small Frame for 9mm, as well as the Large Frame for 9mm.

They don't make that specific model anymore but it can take most of the upgrades that the current Tanfoglios can use.

Well I bought it on a whim and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. It's still BNIB and why I don't know I just can't bring myself to shoot it. Maybe I'm just saving it for that person who really wants it. The model I really want is a stock 2 with the full dust cover. I was just looking for a little more info on this one. Right now I'm more into my CZs so that's why this one is on the back burner. I will say though it is a beautiful gun.
