Anyone know why they went from $500 to now $800+?

I thought they were a steal for $500 and now $800 makes me reconsider.

Well I hope it goes back down.  I could see $500 but $800 is outrageous.  I bought my K2-45 for $350 new for goodness sake.

Yup you know the drill. That $800 is MSRP, which is nuts. Have to wait it out because SAR USA will just keep cranking these out, and after election, eventually at some point, the price will come waaaay down

$800 for a SA limited class handgun with a mag well and adjustable sights stainless finish and sweet trigger right out of the box that is adjustable for OT is too much?
To say that's wayyyyyyy high seems a tad wrong. I'd say it pretty fairly priced if you compare it to the competition in this style of handgun.
Hopefully they come down in price but if they are $800 now and they can't keep them in stock.......the days of $500 have sailed.

You may have gotten in on the deal when EAA was dumping the SAR Pistol line at well below wholesale.
Original SAR K2-45 MSRP was in the $500 to $700 ballpark, depending upon who's gouging you.

Ok, a local shop know for keep true value is selling them for $650.  Thats a bit better.

And I know what the K12 encompasses.  But it is a SAR pistol.  Everyother gun in their line up can be had for about $300 pre-panic.  Its like paying $80k for a Kia.  It looks nice but is still a Kia.

This is about what I’d be willing to pay, if I were in the market for one. Good find there

Markets are cyclical. The impatient create the sellers market, the panic causes some folks to pay $200 more for the same gun. Its best for the uninitiated to tread carefully when the waters are so frothy

Just uploaded a lengthy post on all the upgrades I did to my SAW K12, along with trigger job thanks to Henning.
