My P07 Trigger
« on: September 08, 2021, 09:42:41 PM »
I got my P07 8/31/18

It’s been a while since I shot it probably late 2019. Covid kicked in range closed on lock down then Civil unrest ammo shortage etc.

I pulled it out the safe tonight to lube it along with other pistols. In function checking it I noticed that the DA pull is really smooth and easy and feels lighter. Just feels good.

It’s a purely stock gun no mods at all. It’s got roughly 800 plus rounds through and a fair amount of dry fire practice when I first got it. I had thought about doing some CGW upgrades but I don’t think it needs it. All I need are Night Sights.

I was thinking of doing some CGW work on my new P01 Omega but I think I’m going to wait and just keep putting rounds through to see how the trigger is after that. It also needs Night Sights.

Almost 2 years without shooting your pistols?  :o ??? ::) :P :-[ :-X
Looks you got stronger if DA pulls felt lighter.  ;)   Or corrosion ate all rough edges.  ;D

I like P-07 like it is, good polishing was enough.
P-01 Omega needed more work and CGW parts to make me happy !
And yes - something better than stock sights is what you need.

Happy shooting !  :)

    Every pistol is a unique machine off the assembly line, and QC often just means minimal functionality. The P07 delivered to my FFL almost got shipped back ! 500 rounds and light polishing made it usable, 500 more and a very thorough polishing made it a pleasure to shoot. It's the pistol I now depend on for home defense, and has over 5000 rounds through it. I'll be replacing some springs and parts shortly.
    The Wife's P07 was a dream right out of the box with a magnificent trigger, and it just kept getting better. I'll order up some parts for hers, but won't need them for a while.

When I got a 365 I was shooting that a lot in 2019 the a 365 XL then a
870 Tac 14 Arm Brace that I fell in love with then a PSA AR Pistol that shot every chance I got. So the P07 got put in ice. [emoji23]

My P-07 was very good out of the box also.  The MCARBO springs kits and the video on the internal cleaning and polishing did wonders more for it.  In addition I used the o ring dry fire method to put many....and MANY MORE trigger pulls on the P-07 after the kits and polishing.  Sit in Front of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy dry firing made the trigger so much more lighter and smoother.
