Honestly, I don't know where else to put this, Gunsmithing, Competition, Here. Sooo, here it goes.
I am in the process of acquiring a Steel Frame P-01. I hope CZ brings more of them in but I got tired of waiting.
For the last few years I have been competing with a P10C (several actually) and I hold them in high regard as rugged, reliable, and high performing firearms. However... I keep wondering if I could run a heavier gun with a better trigger just a little quicker. And right now, after a lengthy struggle with Covid19, I'm in a great position to spend some time doing serious equipment evaluation.
The rules I have to contend with for modifying the firearm are pretty loose, mostly related to dimensions and weight except that I must retain the function of the firing pin block and any other safety present on the tool.
First Question: SAO vs DA/SA
Follow-up Questions: Parts list. What should I be stuffing in this thing? Is it a mix and match of CZC & CGW stuff or fully one or the other?
Please Help, CZ Gurus!
