I've used the same Ultimate Kinetic Bullet Puller for over 20 years.  The trick to longevity is to hammer it against a piece of 4x4 on the end grain.  I never smack it on concrete. It's also important to tighten the lock cap between whacks.

Grip N pull is the best IMO. They are a bit pricey but super handy , easy to use/store and they work great, don't mar the bullet.
I had a heavy crimped round pop the primer in a 0-06 round about 8 years ago and threw it directly in the trash along with the shorts I was wearing that day. I still remember the primer flying through the air, will never forget that one.

I've got the orange Lyman magnum model.  I broke the threaded cap (well my son did) off the puller.  I emailed Lyman and they sent out a replacement cap.

I broke the screw-on cap from a RCBS hammer version and they replaced it.

When I broke the RCBS handle, I bought a no-name thing off Amazon that was worthless. I actually threw that thing in the trash.

I decided to go with the RCBS collet bullet puller. Just waiting on my shop to get the .22 cal collets back in stock but I am in no hurry. Thank you everybody!

I've always used a collet puller never a problem  i use a RCBS and have a collet for every size bullet i load, expensive, but I've never broken a collet or failed to pull a bullet including roll crimped bullets.

I have both the kinetic and collet types. For the collet puller, I originally purchased the RCBS, but sent it back and replaced it with the Hornady CamLock. For me, the Hornady is a better design for using in my Redding T7 tool head.
The RCBS handle doesn’t’ the clear adjacent dies. The “swing over” handle travel has no such issue with the Hornady
If you would be using the RCBS in a single stage or on a dedicated tool head, the horizontal handle rotation would be a non-issue.
