I have a P09 that I built as a USPSA Carry Optics gun because it had a wider slide for Optics and I did not want to cut my SP01 that I was using to shoot Production.  I had to get new mags, holsters etc., to complete the set up.

From the situation you describe, I would keep the 75B.  It uses same magazines as your Shadow1.  If you want more capacity, there are several after market basepads that will do so reliably.

You make a great point about Magazines, though Mec-Gar mags are (relatively) affordable here ($85 or so) so I have a good number of CZ 75 mags.

Sorry and surprised to learn the Philippines is so tyrannical about firearms possession.

Oh, its not so bad (if you’re willing to pay for it all).

Uncle Sam wasn’t so hot in including 2nd Amendment rights when he was writing our Constitution for us so firearms possession is treated as a privilege here, not a right.

Of course if you can swallow all the fees you can own all the way up to 20 firearms. Though you are limited to pistols and shotguns. Strictly self defense rounds. You can’t even get a permit to own anything in 5.7mmm, probably because of its vaunted penetration properties.

No rifles, though, people even have trouble licensing .22LR hunting rifles. Stands to reason though as we’ve had Muslim and communist rebels operating in parts of the country for decades.

All in all not as bad as say CA or NY. We have permits to carry (we have a sort of dumb rule that it has to be concealed carry).

Heck. I even have a permit to conceal carry my Evo Carbine. LOL

I have more CZ75 series pistols than the plastic framed P07/P09 guns.

But I carry the P07s almost daily, concealed.  The most accurate CZs I have are one of the P07s and the 9MM P09.

The CZ75's, especially the P01 Omega, feels better in my hand than the P07/P09.  But the plastic guns shoot better groups.

The mags. for the CZ75 types are cheaper than the P07/P09 guns.

The P09 9MM is really a soft shooting pistol.  Very nice.  The .40's not so much.  I had to change the trigger in the .40 P09 to the old style curved trigger of the DUTY P07s because it would tear up my trigger finger.

Holsters are still easier to find for the CZ75 types than the P07/P09.

The P07/P09 does have a light/laser rail on the frame but so do some of the CZ75 types.

Fit and feel in my hand is important, but group size trumps fit/feel.

I wish the P07/P09 mags. were cheaper but I've paid for them anyway due to the groups I get from mine.

My CZ75 types with "nicer" triggers than the P07/P09 still don't shoot better groups because they have a nicer trigger.

Not all P07s/P09s shoot as good as the two I mentioned.  The 9MM P07 I have does not shoot with the .40 P07.  The .40 P09 does not shoot with the 9MM P09 or the .40 P07.  Both of those good shooting plastic framed pistols shoot better groups for me than my Tactical Sport .40 and it has a really nice trigger pull.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

The P09 grip is thinner than a stock 75b grip and also gives you a choice of backstraps so you can tailor the grip to smaller hands.  The trigger is also flatter than (some) 75b triggers which can be sharply curved.

Personally, the easiest gun to shoot well is the P09.  I'm not a good shot at all, but my stock P09 groups beat my groups from all of my other CZs.

I love my 75B SA (which I had hard chromed).  That said, my P09 is probably superior in a few ways:
1. Can work on it myself (I'm not mechanically inclined, at all)
2. I like DA/SA (CGW parts of course)
3. Rail for light
4. Is a big 9mm pistol (my favorite type of gun of all time)
