Spotted this almost new SAR K2, .45 ACP, double stack the other day for only $389, so it went home with me.
(Borrowed this photo from the web but mine is almost exactly the same)

Started reading about them when I got home and am really glad I picked this up. No box or papers but did get an extra mag that looks unused. I was able to order two extra 14 round mags from SAR USA.
I also discovered that even though mine is stamped EAA out of Florida, the new ones are now imported by SAR USA out of Alabama. Also, it looks like the EAA SAR K2 guns were sold for about what I paid for mine used. The new ones show a price of $555.
Took it to the range and as the reviewers said, one ragged hole at 10 yards was normal. POI was low and to the left. I finally figured out how to adjust the rear sight when I got home. Unlike other adjustable rear sights, I had to push the spring loaded rear sight blade to the right then I was able to turn the windage adjustment screw (it seems to have some type of a locking detent for that adjusting screw that was unlocked by pushing the sight blade to the right). The elevation screw doesn’t seem to have a locking adjusting screw. I just had to carefully turn it counter clockwise to raise the POI. (Some reviewers reported having trouble with the rear sight adjustment.)
KSD makes some nice wood grips for this gun but I think I will stick with the stock plastic/“poly” ones for now.
