What does the "L" mean in CZ75 Compact L?

I don't know....I just bought one of the "L"'s, and the box actually says "Longer Barrel"....But the barrel is no longer than my other compacts. I know, we have to go back to 2013 for the answer, right? I have searched quite a bit, and have found no definitive answer.



I'm sure it's something cool, but if you don't know(I don't), please start your reply with "I don't know"....

I'm not an expert but as I recall the L model was a compact that had some custom work done on it. Cz Custom did a version for the shop and another for CZ-USA. The CZC model will have their paperwork.

CZ CUSTOM version of CZ75 Compact with ALU frame and manual safety.

There were only 20 of these made, they were enhamced by CZcustom. Trigger job basically. I think there are two versions, as I have seen some with the comp hammer, some with factory hammer. Some with like an 85 combat trigger and some with blued curved original trigger. I just missed one locally, kicking myself. Nice basic fighting pistol. These preceded the “SDP” I believe. You could ask more in the CZ custom section.
