I noticed my new P10C OR has a pin that’s not on my S and I haven’t seen it on the F either - I’m guessing it’s the magazine catch pin.
Why does the C have this and the S and F don’t? It’s almost right above the magazine release button.
Both of my pistols are pretty new, my P10C actually has the year printed on the slide (21) but my S doesn’t have any numbers on the slide - it’s near the picatinny rail and I believe it was made last year bc the last two numbers are 20 on the serial or ID number.
Any info or help on why the C has this pin and the others don’t would be helpful.

The only P10 I have is a C. But I guess it’s a new design feature of the P10 series. It’s possible future C models won’t have the pin.

Your S is likely a USA made model so it does not require the level of proof marks and serial number locations compared to a Czech made one and has an extra front serration on the slide (that might be changing with current Czech production).

Huh, if you're willing and able, post some pictures on the frame without the slide and maybe we can figure out what's going on.

I wouldn't be shocked if they redesigned the mag catch retainer again.

In that area, There’s a molding divot that’s present on Czech-made models of the p10’s and absent on the US-made models (not a pin; can’t be removed). Is that what you’re referencinng?

Yes there is a divot there on my Chech made C. There is no pin. Please post a pic of what you are looking at.
Let's go Brandon!

If you have a ambi mag release model, there will be a mag catch pin.  Since CZ has gone with a reversible release in later versions, they seem to have divots at the original locations.  Take a look at the parts drawing in your owners instruction manual.
