SOA trigger for kadet
« on: October 23, 2021, 02:30:37 PM »
Have a kadet 2 with dedicated frame.want to install flat SAO trigger. Does not have lifter so don’t need spacer. Will remove disconector. What is the better trigger to get 5SOA or 6SOA .does the totally flat one feel better than the one with the small curve at bottom?

As to the profile, i would say that it is a matter of personal preference. An SAO Trigger with both pretravel and overtravel set screws is something to consider, especially in a non FPB CZ pistol. These set screws allow one to adjust out or limit the forward and reward overall Trigger travel, bringing the Trigger dynamics closer to a well tuned 1911. Not all SAO CZ Triggers have both set screws.

I am interested to hear the input of other forum members on the subject.

Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Not fond of the totally flat triggers.  You need a lot more muscle memory to make sure you trigger finger hits the same place every time or you will wind up with an inconsistent trigger pull.  Agree with TOK that getting a trigger with both adjustments is an excellent idea no matter what configuration of trigger you use.  I like the 85 Combat trigger myself. At least best so far.

Best wishes on your project.

I've had both and prefer the 6SAO. I don't have any problems with inconsistent trigger pull. All of my pistols and rifles get flat triggers if they're available.

Now it has a 85 combat trigger with out over t1ravel screw. I have the old style 85 with both screws in most my cz’s but I figured on putting a SAO trigger with both screws to get the shortest reset in single action without adding a bunch of parts since it’s a kadet . Like a race hammer , t2 disconector and old style 85 trigger. Going cheap on this one . Think I’ll try the curved one first, but Cajun gunworks is out of stock..am on waiting list.

This is the SAO trigger for small hands that I special ordered.  My hands are medium but I like the positioning.

Click onther Icon under the "B"(blod) Icon "Insert Image"
You'l get something like this:
[ img][ /img]
On your Host Site click "Share" and copy the "Direct Link", the one that ends in .jpg
Insert that Link between the ]['s
It'll look like this: [ img]https://i.postimg.cc/MHZzPkJ4/C63176-AF-F205-4914-AAE1-DBE5-D8-F5-FCC8.jpg[ /img]

Then you should get this:

Looks GREAT by the way   ;)
