Yes, it's more accurate than I am.
I just ran the NRA Sharpshooter course of fire last night with no major issues (30 feet).
Yes, it is surprisingly easy to flinch for some reason. The recoil is fairly mild feeling, to be honest, (and I like the grip) so I'm not really sure why it's an issue. It's my favorite pistol.
The slide is back in the shop. After having in duracoated (see earlier thread for pics), it was smacking the brass on the side of the slide during extraction just above the extractor and about 1/4" back. Chewed off the duracoat. <cry> So the smith has it and is going to apply a patch of something else there (some epoxy product he says will withstand the chewing). A rectangular patch in some light color such as "stainless" so that it looks like what it's intended for (he doubted he'd be able to match the color on the rest of the slide or frame with a different product). I'm excited to see what it will look like when he's done but I have to be without it until next monday <double cry>
I'm about out of ammo so I need to buy some more.
Peace favor your sword,
Kirk
