1985 CZ-75.
« on: December 17, 2021, 09:25:01 AM »
I bought a 1985 CZ-75 that has a two tone plated finish. I believe the gun came from Israel.

Did CZ ever offer nickel or chrome plating as a factory finish back in 1985? Or did the Israelis refinish their CZs?

Here is a link to a thread that shows pictures of my pistol

Pretty pistol.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Very likely hard chrome, then a little polishing on the slide. Israel did hard chrome some of their guns. I have an 89 chrome/blue that is just plain sexy to me. Another member has an 80 C/B that looks unissued...
