Looking at a CZ SHADOW 2 OPTICS-READY
« on: January 15, 2022, 04:01:09 PM »
Does anyone know what red dot fit on this pistol? I like sig Romeo 1 Pro. I want the RD i pick to fit in the cut portion of the slide with no slop.  Suggestions based on how your's are fitting, thanks!

The optic ready S2 from CZ uses sight specific plates for mounting red dots. Also the slide is contoured differently ( wider at the top ) at the rear than standard. Check to see if they make a plate for your sight. The slide is milled long for the plate, but the plate itself is cut for a snug fit to the optic. I actually bought two plates for the S2 optic ready, one for a Leupold DPP and one for a Burris fastfire. Don’t even have a S2 yet! Maybe a direct to slide cut would work better for you if possible on the S2 ?

Pretty sure the DPP plate is the one you need for the Sig Pro.

I put a Trijicon SRO on mine. No issues at all. It used the same base plates as the P10 if I remember correctly.
