P-07 Sight Alignment
« on: March 15, 2022, 07:41:17 PM »
Started shooting P-07 few weeks ago & have few hundreds rounds through it & dry fire daily. Had trouble w/DA aspect, shooting low & left. So have been working on grip, trigger pull, etc., & the POI is moving to center of target, but still low. I typically shoot my CZ's w/ front sight on/covering center of target. Have had good success with PCR shooting where aimed, but this P-07 not so much.

Sure, need more time at range & dry fire, but open for suggestions for improvement w/ DA especially.

Also, looking to replace front sight w/FO & black out rear dots. There a several suggestions in forum on sights that are available. Just need to improve POI so can determine which sight to purchase so can order correct size FO sight. Was looking into green or orange front sight.
Tks

If your P07 has stock sight now, it should be good to go on elevation. Sounds like you are dipping a little maybe? As for fiber optics, Dawson I think is considered the way to go.

Had same issue on my P-07.  Went with a straight 8 night sight, from CZ Custom.  Mcarbo spring kit is a simple and not expensive way to improve the trigger.  Also just get a snap cap and dry fire DA 1,000 times, works wonders and costs nothing.

Best wishes on your project.

Thanks guys. Have replaced springs & gun shoots very well & smooth. DA dry fire appears to be helping, will see how it goes.

Have seen others mill slide for optic, but not so sure want to add that to the equation.
