CZ Production Delay??

Hello folks,

I'll try to keep this brief. I have been on the look out for a P-07 in my home state of GA and haven't been able to come across one. I placed a deposit on a 07 at my local shop hoping they would get one at some point, however there hasn't been any word from CZ. I've checked with other local shops and received the same word. So what is the deal with CZ production? I saw they had shut down the KS facility due to Covid on their (US) website, but there wasn't a date on the article. I am not sure if this covid article was from this year, last year, or from 2020.

And before y'all start saying buy it online... I know I can go online and purchase on a site like GunBroker, but I am fine with waiting and supporting my local shop.

Any information y'all have would be appreciated.

You LGS surely has the means to find one for you.  Online, there are several at other gun stores...not like Guns America or Gun Broker, I mean LGS in various states.

You won't get any more info here about production than you already have as we are all at the mercy of that same info. You could call CZ-USA directly and ask them what may be coming down the pipe in the future. I'm in Ohio and in the past 2 weeks the locals here have had many CZ's show up including P-07's so your lgs should be able to get some answers as well.

 There have been tons of P-07s (and other models shipping). If your dealer is a direct authorized dealer with CZ-USA his order(s) will be filled in the order it was received generally. However, while it's slowing down a bit there are still huge orders on most models so in many cases items will be shipping on orders from 4-6+ months ago. If a new order is placed it gets in the q and depending on model it may not ship for many months as  they are still working through earlier orders. If he's not a direct dealer he's at the mercy of whatever distributor(s) he's using. Most of them have their own allocation system for heavily backordered or popular items.

 The covid shutdown is really old news. CZ-USA was shut down for like 1 day in 2020.

Do you have a way of finding a provate sale local to you? Here in Texas we use a site called Texas Gun Trader. There are currently about 4 P07s local to me for sale.
