TSO Mag Loading Issues?
« on: January 24, 2022, 11:21:25 AM »
I recently picked up a new TSO with 10-round mags (thank you VT restricting pistol mag capacity >:().  When loading any of the 3 mags, I am getting a significant amount of resistance.  Usually the 5th and 8th rounds.  It feels like the spring is catching on the stupid dimples added to the mag body to limit capacity.  It is possible to push past the binding and fully load 10 rounds, but forcing anything like this seems wrong to me.  All of the mags do the same thing and all appear to be assembled correctly.  Is this normal, or do I have an issue?

It is normal. The 10 round Tac Sport mags are trash. TBH this is an issue with most of the communist mags, the Springfield M&P are among the worst.

The only thing you can do is to leave it fully loaded for at least a week and cycle the spring a few times and hope for the best.
