anyone fit a kadet to a (turkish?, or otherwise) clone?
« on: January 02, 2022, 05:00:32 PM »
i dont like taking one gun "outta the fight" and would prfer to just have enough slides to frames.... so i pondered getting a clone to drop the kadet on.... mainly i wanna shoot with it, not "train, or get same trigger pull as the 9mm"  so those reasons arent a deal bfreaker for me

It doesn’t fit a Canik S-120 or L-120.

IMHO; you may be better served by buying a used CZ75B
Or better yet, the CZC BSA Frame Kit and REALLY enjoying the true attributes of the KADET Conversion Unit

So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what's coming after HIM !

Wow! that’s cool news. I have a K2P out in the shed collecting dust! Always wanted a polymer lower for the Kadet. Have to try that out.

I had the same experience: no go on an L-120.

Tried fitting a Kadet upper to a K2P lower and they didn’t match without modifications. The “rail” on the K2P is too big. Even if it fit I would also be very concerned about the the short length of the rail keeping the upper steady. Some have used the CZ Phantom lower that also has short metal rail segments. The upper does fit and it will function, but it doesn’t have the full length rail support so it tips.
