The primary arms MD25 will co witness irons with the bonesteel handgaurds.  It is a lower co witness though, not absolute

OEM stock with some steel piece , pinned and welded steel tube function well

I think that your red dot needs to be mounted lower than it currently is...definitely below the level of the dust cover. With that side mount you are using co-witnessing will not be possible.

Reflex sights sit a little higher (about the width of the 2032 button battery) due to battery being in the base.  Micro red dots sit about that much lower.  My NEA are lower 1/3rd, and IIRC Bonesteel are too w/ Micro Red Dots.  So might be lower 1/4 w/ reflex vs 1/3 micro.

Pretty poor attempt at “modernization” by IRTV. A simple Magwedge rear sight beats whatever that ugly rear sight is. An NEA handguard set or B&T set would probably do him better too, with a canted AR tube and an RS AKOT setup for an optic maybe. Ah, but what do I know?

What a genuinely awful build. I’ll stick to the NEA handguard/Barf stock/FAB grip/Magwedge peep sight I’ve used for years.
If I didn’t have better guns like my G36K, maybe a BCT quad rail and AR stock instead, similar to what we see used in the sandbox, but ehhhh. The optics annoyances kill it for me.

Leave it alone. The Vz is outdated, but a perfectly comfy and shootable fighting rifle as-is.

Thats beautiful, and beefy. The heat wont effect the sight? And how is that actually mounted? Id love to see pics of the process.
