My Evo 3 S1 pistol came with an SB Tactical folding brace on it. I also have an Evo 3 S1 Carbine so I had felt the factory stock. I opted to replace the SB Tactical brace with a factory folding stock with a tailhook adapter and tailhook. Much preferable cheek weld and better alignment with open sights and red dot optics in my application.

And now they make a compact mini tailhook.  Another excellent choice.

SB Tactical 1913A locks up tighter than the factory brace with positive retention in both positions and folds left enabling me to fire from the folded position if necessary.  Mine will take working in as it takes quite a bit of effort to break the hinge position in order to collapse the brace.

To me, having that ugly chunk of resin was unacceptable. Especially on micro. I went with A3 brace.
You can fold left or right. You can have curve back or forward. Rock solid. No wobble at all.

I like that setup a lot.
Well done. [emoji108]

This is what I have in my Scorpion right now.
It’s a little expensive compared to other options but IMO is one of the best brace options for the Scorpion right now.

SB Tactical makes the most affordable and easy to find options. They look the best too, IMO.

The factory 805 folder is pretty sweet, but an NFA item on your 805!

Have the OEM folder on mine, but it is a Tax Stamp gun.
Something I've noticed; had a straight brace on mine initially, and handled a straight MagPul yesterday.  In both cases, getting low enough to get on the iron sights is very difficult.  An optic can sit higher.
The OEM folder tapers down before extending back, which allows a much better cheek weld, and alignment with the sights.
One caveat; 'climbing' the OEM stock, by putting your cheek on the sloped section, will give your cheek a beating.  Get your face back on the straight section solves the problem completely.
Yeah, the Scorp is pretty much worthless without a stock, no matter how it may look.

1913 brace is best imo. Most can flip and fold right or left btw. Best part is it can share that same brace with other guns. I use 1913 on all mine now. Got tired of buying expensive proprietary ones that fit just one gun. A3 tactical makes imo the best looking one. But it's pricey. I'll let others show thiers and let you judge looks vs what ya need or want etc.

I was originally looking at a 1913 brace (SB Tactical FS1913 at the recommendation of a friend), but the price of a brace plus adapter was quite a bit more than the proprietary folder. I may need to go back to the 1913 route though

I couldn't get A Sb brace last year. So I found that a sig 1913 adapter fit per fectly it uses a simple Ar buffer tube perfect forr a simple brace that isn't a brace
