After years of hating the trigger shape on my mid-90s Witness .45, I finally broke down and purchased the Tanfoglio trigger from CGW. It arrived quickly, as usual, and I promptly installed it. First thing I noticed was the contour is fantastic and tip of the trigger doesn't ride on the middle of my finger pad. Second thing I noticed was that the SA was awesome! Third thing I noticed was, uh oh, no DA reset. If I had actually looked at the trigger before installing it I would have seen that the face of the trigger, where it hits the frame, wasn't relieved like the factory trigger, so there was insufficient forward travel to reset the DA.
A few emails back and forth with David and the new and old trigger were off to CGW. A couple weeks later they were both returned, with the new trigger relieved like the old one, and with a "no charge" invoice. Now that's what I call customer service!
