P-10c Serial number
« on: October 31, 2022, 04:13:31 PM »
Hi everyone.  This is my first post.

I have searched the net and several forums to no avail.  Does anyone have a list of serial numbers for the P-10c?

I purchased mine new in 2019.  It is the standard slide with tritium night sights (which are dim but show up well in darkness).

I actually called CZ-USA after receiving the pistol, but they had very little information.  Back then, serial numbers on the original design wer prefixed with a "B" and newer versions were prefixed with a "C".  there may be newer prefix letters since then, but I have no idea if there is a "D" or any other prefix other than these.

Here is the rub...MY P-10c has matching serial numbers that are all UE0000x.

Does anyone else have the "UE" prefix?  My serial number is also extremely low.  Can anyone tell me about it?  Great shooter that has never had a single issue in over 3 years. (the P-10c, not me!)

Thanks!

Since 2004, all models made in the CZ factory in Uhersky Brod have used a standard serial numbering scheme starting with letter A followed with six digits. The letter and numbers increased with each proofed/production item. Thus, there are no specific serial number schemes assigned to the P-10 models, CZ-75B, Bren 2, CZ 527, etc. which they used to have in the past. Your U+alpha+5-digits is the serial numbering scheme used for USA produced guns.

I’m not familiar enough with what KC has done with its numbering scheme other than the use of the “U” plus alpha-digits to differentiate it from the Czech factory production. Perhaps others here can comment on their SN and purchase year although KC does not mark a proof year on its guns.

Psyop96 provided some great info. Pretty sad that when you called CZ they could not tell you anything.

What were/are you hoping to find out you can not? Here is some info.

It's almost certainly a 91537, regular non optic P-10C with night sights. It would have been early in CZ-USA production. It's basically a regular P-10C, there are a lot out there.

There are quite a few different prefixes out there whether Czech or US made. UB handguns are up into at least the Gxxxxxx now. CZ makes a lot of guns :)

It is indeed a 91537.  The slide says Kansas City, but does not say "Made In" anywhere, so I thought it might mean imported by CZ USA.  Before purchase, the prefixes were "B" and "C" and when I bought mine new in spring of 2019, the manufacturer date was January 2019 and the serial number was nearly all zeroes, so I have always wondered.
