Your Eminence -
You can install the hammer spring yourself. There may be are videos.

As I remember, you simply remove the grips, push the base of the grip (actually the lanyard protrusion) down into a workbench, slide out a small pin hidden by the grips, and the old spring slides out through the bottom. Installation (with oil) is the reverse.

This may require a whole 4 minutes. OK, 5 minutes on the first time !

lol, thanks.   I'm familiar with them,  but given that they're a competitor to CGW, I figured I would buy the kit from CGW And have an independent gun smith put it in.

I'm also completely open to going to CZ customs if they have something comparable to the pro kit/omega kit and are reasonable price wise.
I just got my p-01 Omega and need to shorten the trigger reach, lighten the DA/SA pull, and make the slide a little easier to rack.     Basically:  new hammer, some polishing, trigger, firing pin........right?

Video added.

Start by swapping out only the hammer spring. See if the change is taking you in the correct direction.

You asked for a good gunsmith in AZ... and yes, CZ Customs offer parts and trigger work comparable to CGW. I do my own work and use parts from both. Not sure what CZC offers for the Omega, but you didn't mention that when you posted. It makes a difference. Good luck with your search.

Understood and thanks.  I may just pay them a visit after my gun is broken in (500 rounds or so), and see what their kits are like compared to CGW, given what I'm trying to do

You need to go in to CZC just to try out the different guns! They don’t have “kits” but can match up their parts to a CGW equivalent. Obviously some stuff is CGW proprietary, but springs are springs (I will admit to running their TS cause I think it IS better)(and they color code the hammer springs - nice)
