Trigger over travel stop advice needed
« on: December 18, 2023, 10:13:55 AM »
Hello all,

I managed to get a cajunized 2075 RAMI recently.  2018 production and in really great condition.  It has the full CGW pro package including  a slightly extended safety.  It's about perfect with an amazing trigger pull.

However, it looks like due to the unique geometry of the RAMI the overtravel screw threads are contacting the frame and cutting into it.  I am wondering about the best course of action.  Should I back the screw out?  Remove it?  Polish it?

What do you think?

Thanks very much!

Unfortunately one of those things with an aluminum frame. Personally I would remove the screw and see how much practical accuracy you lose. My bet is not much if any.

I'd just leave it.  It will only go so far then most likely will stop.  It is going to stop deforming at some point.  It isn't something that is very noticeable and the RAMI isn't a show piece.

Cheers,
Toby

Yep either take it out or leave it in place. The wear isn't unique to the Rami and I have the same wear pattern on my 3 PCR's which are also alloy frames. I'm not concerned about it in the least.
