Had a chance to take it to the range yesterday and get my feet wet with it. Oh my - it's a keeper! We put 97 factory rounds through it, all of which worked flawlessly. Nothing to show really - my son and I just decided to ring steel all afternoon. My only dis-like is that it was throwing the brass about 15' high 30' away, which surprised me since it is sprung so heavy. The firing pin retainer has a pretty large roundover on it, so I'm thinking about trying a more squared off plate to see if that helps.

The funniest part was that near misses still made the plate ring!

Last night I ordered a flat bottomed firing pin stop, then worked up some Longshot ladder loads to try out today. I'm very curious to see what effect the stop has on ejection and the recoil impulse.

Congrats on the 10mm purchase.  It is one kick butt round.  I bought a Tanfoglio 10mm couple years back, great gun.  It also throws brass into the next zip code.  Been thinking maybe a heavier recoil spring would calm it down a tad.   The Tanfo lead me to this forum.  Love the ergonomics of the CZ75 design.

Congrats, that model 10mm has me intrigued. Love 10mm, massive power range going from defensive loads (which feel like 40 S&W) to the Buffalo Bore bear stompers. Flat bottom firing pin stop, heavy 23# hammer spring and heavy (23-23#) recoil spring and you'll be all set.

After a long absence during covid, it seems that Tanfoglio 10mm pistols are finally making their way back into the US, limited models coming in spurts. I’m waiting for a DA/SA with a steel frame, rail, and drilled and tapped for an optic mount.

I got the fps installed last weekend, but haven't had time to get to the range yet. I noticed the original fps allowed the extractor to rotate a bit, so the new one, with as tight as I fit it, should eliminate any clocking issues.
