Custom 3D Printed DA/SA Trigger for Shadow 2
« on: December 23, 2022, 11:44:10 PM »
I recently purchased an Accushadow 2 and built a Carry Optics rig for USPSA.  I've been shooting a TSO and had printed a SAO trigger to adjust the ergo's on it to fit my larger than average hands.  It was immediately apparent that I would have to do something for my new S2 as well.  Since it has to stay DA/SA I was concerned that the DA trigger pull would stress the printed trigger more.  Thus far it seems fine, I'll need to put it through it's paces for few thousand before calling it good.

My design moves the trigger face forward about 6.5mm.  It is a little bit of reach in DA but feels sweet in SA.  It'd be interesting to compare this to the Eemann tech ultimate trigger and the newer CGW flat DA/SA trigger.

Looks very interesting. What printing material? Resin?

It's nylon with carbon fiber infused in it.

This far this material has held up to any chemicals I've used to clean my guns without any degradation, zero.

It's rigid and durable.  Truly functional printing material.

Toby
