CZ SP01 Compact
« on: March 11, 2023, 10:56:22 AM »
I'm looking for a SP01 Compact steel frame. I found 1 with a manual safety. I prefer a decocker. Can it be converted to a decocker? Maybe a Omega trigger system?
Thanks for your help.

No it cannot be converted. While the standard 75 series variants share many of the same internals the frames are different. The Omega is a completely different animal altogether.

I think they are talking about the Steel framed compact safety model with a tac rail. It is sometimes referred to as "SP-01 Compact" because it is a shorter name to speak and to type.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

That's basically what it looks like.  A small SP01.  When I converted one of mine to SAO years ago I labeled the picture file SP01 Compact.  The name on the slide is CZ75 Compact but it's not at all like my other CZ75 Compacts (rail, ambidextrous safeties).

Sometimes I wish I still had mine.  Sometimes.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Like he said.  The pistol you're asking about is safety only.

The only pistols CZ makes that can be converted from safety to decocker and/or back are the Omega series pistols.  The P07 and P09 are plastic framed guns and the P01 Omega is an aluminum frame gun that looks like the steel framed gun you asked about at the beginning.

The regular P01 is also and aluminum framed gun with a decocker lever.  It looks similar to what you're looking for.

No and no

The closest thing to what you want is a P-01.
