If people are going to post in broad terms such as it has a crazy amount of wiggle and rattle then this is what you get. Wiggle and rattle are not specs in any manufacturing setting. I need to see real numbers not optical perceptions. if one of the guys I work with come over and says hey this rod bearing is still too loose after I torque it down then he gets the sideways look. Still too loose is not a spec. plastigauge it properly so we can order the bearing shell we need to bring it into acceptable tolerance.
These ARE service grade guns whether you like that or not. They were designed as such and sold and issued to entities in many parts of the world long before they came here. If you want a competition model they obviously make that today as well. No doubt about it they can be too far out of spec but without seeing some evidence here it's all open to opinion. CZ-USA's opinion is the ONLY one of any value to the op or the recent op who resurrected this thread. If he feels his gun is out of spec it's up to him to get it back to them and they have the final say as to whether he has a warranty claim. So far as my Sigs go they are all loose in that they all exhibit right at .020 lateral movement as measured with a dial indicator. This is the way Sig specs them and they are all that way everyone you pick up. They do however shoot reliably and accurately.
You don't like what I have to say that's too bad, don't care. We all have our opinions and you won't change mine.

I'm not sure I've noticed if my CZ's have a lot of wiggle/play between the slide and frame.  All but one of mine are standard CZ pistols.  Some shoot better than others for me.  None cost me more than $700 new.

How it shoots for you is more important than how it looks, how it feels, how tight/loose it is.  Be aware the tighter it fits together the less reliable it can be if you don't keep it clean and well lubed.

You really need to be a good shooter before you can use that last 20% of the mechanical accuracy.  I see people with pistols way more expensive than mine at the range.  Some people can use that accuracy.  Many get more use out of the bragging rights (cost, name on the slide/frame, looks) than the groups.

I, personally, don't want to carry a "match" pistol for self defense.

Comes back to:  Is it reliable?  Is it accurate enough to suit you?  Is it a pistol you will carry all the time?

I'm still (after many years) surprised by how happy some people are with groups that would irritate the heck out of me if I shot them with one of my pistols.  But who's wrong?  Them for being happy?  Or me for wanting more from my pistols than I really need?  What makes you happy with your pistol?  That's what's important.  Just my opinion.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?
