I'm not sure I've noticed if my CZ's have a lot of wiggle/play between the slide and frame. All but one of mine are standard CZ pistols. Some shoot better than others for me. None cost me more than $700 new.
How it shoots for you is more important than how it looks, how it feels, how tight/loose it is. Be aware the tighter it fits together the less reliable it can be if you don't keep it clean and well lubed.
You really need to be a good shooter before you can use that last 20% of the mechanical accuracy. I see people with pistols way more expensive than mine at the range. Some people can use that accuracy. Many get more use out of the bragging rights (cost, name on the slide/frame, looks) than the groups.
I, personally, don't want to carry a "match" pistol for self defense.
Comes back to: Is it reliable? Is it accurate enough to suit you? Is it a pistol you will carry all the time?
I'm still (after many years) surprised by how happy some people are with groups that would irritate the heck out of me if I shot them with one of my pistols. But who's wrong? Them for being happy? Or me for wanting more from my pistols than I really need? What makes you happy with your pistol? That's what's important. Just my opinion.
