Shadow 2 Slide Stop
« on: May 14, 2023, 07:34:34 AM »
All of the Shadow 2 slide stops state that they must be fitted by a gunsmith.  Is that necessary in practice or is it just to cover the manufacturers for legal liability?

CZC no mention of gunsmith, just that parts may require fitting.

If I had known how much better being retired is than working I would have done it FIRST.

Not that i know off,
Used both sh2 and TS slidestops on mine , no issue.
I actually use 2 , one for training and one for competition.

Thanks for the information.  I just ordered an extra slide stop to have in my range bag.

do slide stops break? Why would you need a back up?

Yes, they are a wear item.  They absorb quite a bit energy during the cycle and fatigue fail eventually.  I finally broke a slide stop on my competition rig after ~10000 rounds.
