Semi-Compact factory nickel plated?

LGS has a CZ 75 Semicompact for sale. 2001 manufacture. Well worn and I'm trying to figure out if it is a factory nickel finish. Has anyone seen a nickel semicompact? Please weigh in with your opinion. And what's with the coiled recoil spring?

According to the trigger bar, that gun hasn't fired many rounds. Proabably under 500.

Bought a CZ75 Compact for my wife years ago.  It had that same style twisted recoil spring in it.



No idea what year that one was made.

We found the satin nickel finish slippery and hard to keep a good grip on.  I put skate board tape on the front of the frame at first and then I bought a set of the newer soft rubber grips and that worked well enough I took the skateboard tape off of it.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Sounds like a decent price to me. Offer $400 and see what they say. Can’t hurt.

450 is an absolute steal for that. I love the old style coiled springs. Have that in a few of my CZ's

I went back to look at the gun and it had sold for $550, which I thought was high considering the condition. My pictures were very flattering...

Some guns you remember long time exactly for not buying them, and searching in vain for next one.
Or worse, for erroneously selling them...
