Coating coming off trigger - DWX

Bought in early August.  Should this be happening so soon. Ran about 150 rounds through it!

The anodizing, well, that's what I think the finish is, started wearing off the first day I used mine. Photo is from this past Sunday after 200+ rds.

But, your's appears to be gouged slightly. The steel frame is going to wear the aluminum especially if fitment is tight or there is a burr. Triggers can be replaced and that would be a good time to smooth out the inside surface of frame where trigger contacts it causing the wear.

I don't know if it's worth returning because it may take weeks or months to get it back. I have no idea what the turn around time is with CZ/ Dan Wesson.

BTW, bimmerland, I've got a few bimmers down here, but they are all old models!

My DWX is doing the same thing. I touched it up with red paint and kept going.

This is the nature of 1911 style triggers. You will always have wear like that where the trigger blade moves back into the frame. Had they just left the red coating off and the trigger in its natural aluminum color the wear would show much less pronounced.
