As the opening states. Looking for a leather paddle holster with some retention capability for a 75 Compact. Thanks in advance!

Where is the paddle?  Why does it have belt slots?

Consult the CZ-USA holster database.  Unfortunately, it looks to be unavailable right now:

https://shop.cz-usa.com/company/downloads/#1537896915892-c56715c2-4596

I downloaded it about a fortnight ago.  For the 75 Compact two offer leather paddle holsters:

• Galco, and
• Kramer.

For my 75 Compact and my 83s I opted for OWB pancake holsters with leather straps that snap on and off fairly easily, the UBG Regulator.  As I carry cocked & locked, I'd like a retention strap that rides between the slide and hammer, but no one offered such.  The Regulator is molded to the gun and retains well enough that a fully loaded pistol does not fall out when the holster is inverted (I haven't shake the package in that position, but my guess is it would come out).  I carry concealed, so no retention strap works fine, and I wasn't willing to carry hammer down to use an OWB holster with a retention strap (I seem to recall the Slovakian holster company – name starts with an F? — made one with a condition 2 strap).

If you're willing to stray from leather, Fobus has a polymer paddle holster and RH a kydex one.

Good hunting.

Wright Leather Works in Ohio makes custom gun specific holsters including paddle holsters for the 75 Compact as well as the PCR and P-01. They are a custom order maker so there will obviously be lead time involved.

I haven't used a paddle holster from Wright Leather, but I can say their IWB holsters are great. Good design and good quality, and their wait time is not much of an issue.

I have a Falco leather paddle holster for a P01. It's not real pretty given its price, but it carries very well. It has a screw to adjust retention tension, which I think is a must. The paddle is a bit fussy to get all the way down on your belt, but once in place it works great. It carries closer to the body than most paddles.

I also have a Wright OWB leather holster for this pistol. The Wright is beautiful but lacking in function. The retention is insufficient. I would not trust the holster to hold the pistol during a sprint or a fall. The pistol also flops away from the body more than it should. Wright uses G-Code paddles, which I have. I don't care for them due to their large size.
