price check Leupold rifle scope

would anyone know what a used Leupold VX-3 matte finished 3.5x10x40 with their CDS finger adjust is worth? great condition little to no ring marks and I would guess its about 12 years old. 1 inch tube.

I bought one brand new from my LGS about five years ago. Paid $261 with tax.

Leupold VX-3i 3.5-10x40, CDS, matte black, 1" tube

Admittedly the sole purpose for buying it was that it was a screaming good deal since they were discontinued.

Loved the scope so much I came back and bought a second. It's still in the box.

Check a popular auction site. They seem to hold their value.

You can check ebay and gun sale sites, and get an idea. Keep in mind that some of the scopes listed with prices on the upper end may have been there for quite some time. Better deals tend to sell more quickly.
