Amen, and I agree, as my wife still has several weeks of radiation therapy left for her breast cancer treatment. I treated my staff to a full ham and fixin's the night before Thanksgiving, because I could, and they took lots of leftovers home - some are single parents living on overtime.
Actual Thanksgiving was, "less than optimal", as my sis in law and the wife's grown kids were, what the word, "Disruptive" - I didn't even have to talk politics! We had to leave about an hour after we got there, due to instant headaches from the noise and screaming. So, tonight, when she gets home from work, there will be ham, stuffing, fresh green beans. dinner rolls, taters, pies and whipped topping, enough for a Grande meal and leftovers for the both of us to take to work for the rest of the week, everything she should have gotten Thursday, and didn't.
