First off, I love the gun.  Shoots sooo nicely.  However, and please don't flame me, I'm not a fan of the orange color.  So I've replaced the grips, mag release paddle, and mag bumpers with black CZ parts.  I heard about the screws being lock-tited, so I put a soldering iron on them for a few minutes.  They were tight, but I managed to loosen them without stripping.  A victory I know.
I'd like to adjust the rear sight a hair to the right, as the gun is shooting ever so slightly left. Are the 2 set screws holding the sight in place also lock-tited?  Should I use the same method of applying heat to soften the seal?
Second question.  The standard sized mag plate that I used to replace the orange ones, don't butt up to the frame as closely as the orange ones.  Did I buy the wrong version? They were CZ brand from Czech Rep.  The gap between frame and pad is more than 1/8 in.  Neither the orange mag, nor the extended one has so much clearance. It kinda bugs me.  These are the ones in question:

Thanks for you feedback.

you got parts from the European supplier?  That may answer your question.  I suggest you call
either CZ or Cajun Gun works and ask them about the issue. They are usually willing to talk
about such things.  I have an orange 2 but left the orange stuff on, so I am no help with the
gaps.

I loosened the screws and drifted my rear sight without heating the screws. My 17rd factory and Mecgar CZ75 mags sit flush, just like the orange mags.
