Bul Cherokee : rust issues ?
« on: May 17, 2024, 02:06:28 PM »
I have heard from more than one person that Cherokees have rust issues. I have had 3 of these and no rust issues popped up , but then again , I cant find a holster to carry them in. Can anyone here confirm any rust issues ?Also , where the heck can I find a leather OWB holster for this gun ? I have bought 3 different ones that said they fit the Cherokee but none did. Any helpis appreciated !

Some cheap leather holsters will contribute to rust by not properly neutralizing the tannic acid in the leather.

What Wobbly said, Plus: Leather absorbs and retains moisture. storing a gun long term, or keeping your EDC gun in a leather holster continuously,  is a sure way to get rust going on your gun.
No rust issues with my Cherokee.
