M*Carbo spring kit for P07
« on: August 22, 2023, 10:43:58 PM »
Just ordered one of these kits for my duty weapon P07. The SA is pretty nice so nothing to complain about there but the DA is a bit long. I did just qualify with it so on biggie there but it definitely leaves something to be desired. Anyone else have this kit in their P-07 or P-01?  I only ask about the P-01 because if I like it enough for my P-07 I will get it for my P-01 as well.

The M*CARBO kits are excellent. Fairly easy to install with patience and following their installation videos. Allow a couple of hours for the first one. While your gun is disassembled is also a good time to do some judicious polishing which will help the smoothness.

I've installed three - CZ 75B, 97B, and P-01 Omega. The Omega was the easiest to install.

Make sure you have the tools needed.

While the spring kit may lighten the trigger pull the DA will remain long. That's just the nature of the beast and there's really nothing that can be done to shorten the DA pull.

Cajun Gun Works can help you with your P07's DA pull. All their other parts did wonders for my P-07.

I like the MCarbo kits in my CZs.  I’ve dropped them into three of them.

i have the kit in several P07s and a P01. highly recommended. the Mcarbo kit wont shorten the DA length but it significantly reduces the weight. the polishing process is also highly recommended for the P07/01 series.

I’ve always wondered can the M Carbo, or the Cajun gun works reduce the take up in single action?
