Are the NATO marked P10's really any different?
« on: February 13, 2024, 10:47:16 AM »
Does anyone know about the NATO marked P10's I see on the CZ websites?  I was curious how they are any different. Besides being marked "NATO" on the slide, do they really have a different finish and things like that?  Are they just thicker finishes of the same nitride or are they finished with different methods/materials?

Or are these P10's made exactly the same (if we are talking the Czech made P10's) but they simply go through more testing and then are marked "NATO"?

I wanted a Czech made P10s and I searched for one and bought it. I prefer it over the Kansas ones.  I also like the CHF barrel and stamp markings including the year of manufacturing on the slide.

If you read their website it tells you what's different about them.

Is the P10c the only cz you own?

Hmmm, I guess I'm not reading it the same way you did. How is the finish different or the other differences? I didn't see any details.  The only other CZ's I own are the World War 2 pistols, so I have a few C 27's.

According to the CZUB website,  "It includes models produced to military specifications, which can only be sold to official armed forces."  Who knows if the duty NATO P10's are made differently,  now Czech made vs US made models in retail markets might something we can better compare.  Personally, my Czech p-10  seems have tighter fitting than my P-10 OR  models.
