New owner 3+ owner, need assistance
« on: May 25, 2024, 01:05:52 AM »
Hello all. I just got my Scorpion 3+ 4.2” and I love it so far.

This has been one of my dream guns for a while and always wanted to put a suppressor on it.

I got my Yankee Hill R9 today and immediately realized it would not fit through the hand guard, so what I did was file the sides of the hand guard to give me the clearance. I got it to fit perfectly now but I realized the can is very close to the hand guard and possibly lightly touching.

I’ve never owned a can so I am brand new to this. My concern is the can will melt the hand guard being so close. I would like your opinions and suggestions.

Thank you!

Well for anyone wondering, took the Scorpion out today and did a couple of mag dumps with the can on. No issues at all. Hand-guard got slightly warm but was 100% ok.
