CZ TS2 Deep Bronze
« on: March 22, 2024, 03:45:33 PM »
I was quite surprised to find a new TS2 deep bronze on GunBroker. after taxes and fees I paid right at $3k. I had looked into trying to have one imported from Europe or Canada and that was going to be significantly more expensive.

Have not shot it yet but the trigger (8 ounce SA) is about identical to my TS2 green.

Is that "Deep Bronze" or just a Coppertone sun tan ??  O0

Nice looking gun ! Congrats on the find.

That's a great find of a great gun, one that hasn't been released for sale in the US.  Congratulations.

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose the Deep Bronze over the TS2 Orange. According to CZ's hierarchy, the TS2 Orange is CZ's top pistol.  Ideally it would be great to have both, but what about the Bronze did you prefer over the Orange that made you buy it?  The TS2 Orange has finally been arriving her in the US and is much more available as of late. Is it just the rarity of the Bronze or something else?

I think there is a reasonable chance the Bronze will never be released in the US. I somewhat collect uncommon CZs and this looks to be one. I also have a green TS2 which is discontinued. And some collectors editions as well as shadowlines.

Wowsers!  8 ounce triggers are awfully light on a pistol.  I run an 8 ounce trigger on my Anschutz .22 cal. benchrest rifle and that is very light to me.  Good luck with the new pistol!
