Looking at the P09C
« on: September 08, 2024, 04:22:37 PM »
Looking at the new P09C. Noticed that the decocker is ambi, but haver needed the right side control. Has anybody had that issue with a way to reduce it for saving a bit of width? If it's plastic I supposed you could dremel it down a bit, other ideas? Thanks.

It’s not a big enough issue to reduce width.  I would leave it as is and not screw up the gun.

If they didn't change the holes in the receiver it may be possible to use the thinner lever from the previous version P-07/09 on the right side of the new model.

Decockers are plastic so it will easy to sand it down a bit.
The slide lock/release is metal and is a snug fit in the P07 holsters I have.  Not a big deal for me.
What bugs me is the accessory rail only has one slot and my APLc light is now not a good fit at all.
