Magpul P-Mags in Bren 2
« on: August 17, 2024, 01:07:55 PM »
So, I recently took my Bren 2 out for the first time for target practice. I loaded 30 into the P-Mags I bought and for whatever reason the gun would not feed. I had to take 2 to 3 rounds out of the magazine in order for the gun to function correctly. It was Winchester white box 5.56 and the gun shot decently well. The next day I disassembled the gun for cleaning and discovered some unusual wear on top of the hammer. There appears to be some indentions from striking and the bluing is now almost completely worn off the top of the hammer. Keep in mind I have only put 90 rounds through this gun. This seems a little unusual to me but what do you guys think? Could it be the P-Mags causing this and the feeding issue to happen?

I'm well aware of that. My main concern is the damage to the hammer. I'm new to CZ's but if this is a common thing I definitely won't be purchasing any more in the future. This forum kinda sucks to be honest. Not impressed.

Not sure this is the best way to ask for help...Just my opinion.
