CZ75B SA Holster question
« on: October 09, 2024, 04:38:27 PM »
Hi all,

I am thinking about buying a CZ75B SA, and have a question about the Safariland SLS Holster that is made for the 75B (#6280-90-131)

1) It looks like the holster is designed to fit the .40 cal 75B, so it might fit the SA model with the wider slide at the muzzle. Does anyone have experience with this?

2) Does the SLS Holster hold the gun in a cocked and locked position, with the hood over the back of slide, in front of the hammer, or is it designed for decocked, hood over the hammer carry?

Thank you,
-pg

I believe that you are right in thinking the SA won’t not fit in a 75B holster as it is wider.  I have an SP-01 as well as a SA and both fit in a FAB defense level 2 made for the SP-01.  Granted, because of the rail on the SP-01 there’s some extra space for the SA but it is still held in place  firmly with no wobble or shake.  That  holster will accommodate a P-01 as well.  It works for me.

Alien Gear makes a kydex shell for the 75B that fits their Cloak Tuck holsters, which are hybrids like the one you mention. I have carried a 75B IWB with the AG setup and it works, even under a t-shirt if you have the gun riding low enough.
