I was looking at a used 2011 CZ 75 compact at the local range shop and it got me thinking- what type of hammer spring would it have? I looked up some CZ replacement springs on Wolff Springs. Their site states that "the CZ P01 and newer CZ compacts use the full size hammer springs above." What would be considered the date range for 'newer CZ compacts'? Thanks in advance!

That’s kind of a confusing description IMO. All the 75 series use the same length hammer spring. Compacts use a shorter plug to accommodate the length. Even the Rami uses the same spring but you cut a bit off. I’m thinking they are talking about P series guns but honestly I don’t know. Guess you can call them.

Refer to CZ-USA, CZ Custom , or CGW for proper application not Wolff. My late model comps all use the same spring as the full size models.

Yeah, it is a bit confusing.

Thanks. I'm curious- what date range do you consider late model compacts to be in?

There are no LATE model CZs. Full and compact take the same spring. They must mean new models like the P series. Just call them like they say in the webpage. They’re the ones who can explain this word salad.

I used the same spring (from CGW) in my 2000 D Compact as I put in my 2020 P-01s with no issues.
