Shadow Compact - where to go from here
« on: June 30, 2025, 12:17:41 PM »
I’ve come this far, my first cz and my first real introduction to da/sa. I  don’t know where else to go from here, any help or recommendations appreciated

I just got the new hybrid trigger from cz custom, I’m nervous about trying to install the sear, but I’m gonna try this weekend. Any good videos on the reach reduction installation. ?

What else do you guys suggest?
I was gonna send it off to United for ports,I saw a post about them having issues legally idk if it’s true or not but I hope they stay around .maybe impact

The cgw pro kit
Eamman ultimate hammer ( I’ve never seen anyone use one but I like the look)

I was thinking about having it done with the acculock bushing, idk if you can do that with porting.

Maybe just getting a bull upper whole slide from czc

Is there a guide rod that you’d recommend?

Gas pedal ? The eeamon carry one I’ve heard has issue with the lock back becoming engaged, and the black steel just keeps getting pushed back

Besides Lok is  there any other magwell (besides the springer one I have on it)
- if you used both is lok worth loosing my vytal grips

The first thing I did on mine was to replace the crappy slippery flat safety. The CZ wide safety has great tactile feel and provides a comfortable thumb ledge. CZ Custom had them 2 weeks ago.

Agreed . . . I also immediately changed the driver side OEM thumb safety to a Cajun Gun Works extended safety. Personally, I carry my S2Compact and I deemed the OEM safety to be a liability.

Welcome from Georgia.

Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with all the sticky posts in the 'New Members' section because this is not your typical “anything goes” gun forum. Together with the Help Topics in the 'Important Information !' or 'FAQ' sub-section, these include instructions such as 'how to' post pictures on the forum.

Except for a few trusted suppliers, we are ad-free and do not sell your private information. Enjoy !

Do you play in any gun games?  The divisions usually have defined constraints on what you can and can't do..

If not, then go full CGW pro pkg, port it, CRN frame, DLC top end and external components.  Also get it cut for a red dot.  :)

I don’t it’s for carry, put my carry is normally mounted to a alias mount under the counter at my shop, only iwb while I’m in a store or something, I have another car mount.

I hosted the pictures like the rules in faq said, idk why they disappeared

The dlc coating is a good idea, I love the work I’ve seen impact do the edge work on the top

Did it work with the holster I have a slim fit, I guess I could modify it if need be, but I agree would you recommend just the single side or buy the whole assembly, it would just be the left side extended I’d want
